Working in coherence

It makes a massive difference to be hired and work with people that share the same values with you, that treat you as a part of their team, that include you in activities, that are coherent with what they are about.

It´s my happy place.

I have been collaborating with EPIM (European Philanthropic Initiative for Migration) for a couple of years now, and I cannot stop being happy about it.

EPIM supports and catalyses the migration ecosystem beyond borders, across sectors and institutions, and provides the necessary relational and imagination infrastructures to advance narratives and structures of belonging that inherently benefit all of society, ultimately strengthening democracy.

Their events are always extremely well designed, with the human in mind, with plenty of space of dialogues and circles - because it´s in dialogue that learning happens - and with delicious vegan and non vegan food, so that everyone can be happy.

Large knowledge wall created for EPIM European Philanthropic Initiative for Migration, Berlin, 2025

In the pictures:

1. Myself prepping a massive wall, containing facts on EPIM’s journey in the past 20 years, and insightful quotes by some of EPIM’s members. The wall was made of cardboard, so the day they decide to throw it away, it will not die in landfill but will be recycled.

In addition, the prepping has been done collaboratively with some of EPIM’s team members! The tall one (note the singular) doing the “height” work the shorter ones, including myself, focusing on the bottom part. Everyone useful, everyone having a nice time.

Collaborative work is the best work

2. Circle dialogue, in the gorgeous Robert Bosch Stiftung building in Berlin.

Speaking in circle, playing in circle, meeting in circle.

3. A BEAUTIFUL exercise led by EPIM called “Getting it off of our chest”, where we (yes, they invited me to join the exercise) we could pick up an object or a card, and have a 20 minute conversation holding it and sharing our burdens with 2 more people - INSANE way to connect people instantly.

“Getting it off our chest”: a great activity to blow off steam before we even started the meeting!

If you are planning a workshop, think of me. I can help you make the space feel human, and I can also work digitally - during the same event 😏.

Presencial or virtual graphic recording, that is the question.
